As operating system I used (even for educational purposes) a Linux distribution in my opinion amazing called Lighthouse:

This distribution is derived from Puppy Linux and is' fully loaded into RAM, you have many programs to meet every need and also has a "brilliant" system layer of additional programs that are activated and enabled after the IPL.

The content can 'be saved in a batch file (encrypted or not) is seen from the Lighthouse as a file system ETX2.

I chose this solution in order to avoid the use of hard disks and to reduce consumption.

Ho quindi montato un Hard disk da 2.5 pollici e gli ho caricaro il Lighthouse come fosse una chiave usb (in quanto non installabile nativamente) ma penso fosse una soluzione di compromesso.
Alla fine ho deciso di installare Ubuntu 9.04. con i programmi di uso.
Prestate attenzione che con la motherboard Asus da me scelta ubunu 9.10 non funziona con la ethernet.
Ho verificato il funzionamento corretto della versione 8.10 e della 9.04.

Ecco le foto che mostrano le dimensioni realmente molto compatte che rendono questo pc particolarmente facile da collocare nelle case sempre piu' piccole.


Come potete osservare nei confronti della mano il micro-pc e' realmente compatto.
